The Map doesnt circulate/points in the wrong placeMake sure you havent switched into guide mode. Does your phone have a compass? If no longer, Sky Map can not inform your orientation. Look it up here: http://www.Gsmarena.Com/

Are there any magnets or steel close by that might intrude with the compass?
Try switching off quot;magnetic correctionquot; (in settings) and spot if that is extra correct.
Why is autolocation no longer supported for my cellphone?In Android 6 the manner permissions work has changed. You want to allow the location permission setting for Sky Map as defined here: https://guide.Google.

Do I want an internet connection? No, but a few functions (like getting into your vicinity manually) wont work with out one. Youll have to use the GPS or input a range and longitude as an alternative.
